Bristol Virginia Transit Services to Begin at 9:00 AM Due to Freezing Temperatures
BRISTOL, VA — Due to forecasted freezing temperatures and potentially hazardous morning conditions, Bristol Virginia Transit services will operate on a delayed schedule tomorrow, with fixed route buses beginning service at 9:00 AM.
This delay is being implemented to allow for safer travel conditions for passengers and transit operators.
Transit patrons are encouraged to:
Exercise caution when traveling to and waiting at bus stops, as surfaces may be icy or slippery.
Dress warmly while waiting for buses to arrive.
Allow for additional travel time due to winter conditions.
The City of Bristol appreciates the public’s patience and understanding as transit services adjust operations in response to this winter weather event.
Updates will be shared through official City communication channels should conditions change.
