Notice is given that the City of Bristol is seeking input on its PY 2023 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). The PY 2023 CAPER includes an annual assessment of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, and describes the City’s assessment of its annual performance in meeting its PY 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan priorities and objectives. Furthermore, the CAPER discusses any actions or changes the City contemplates as a result of its annual performance.
The CAPER is made available on the City’s website, in the Community Development Specialist’s office at City Hall, and at the Bristol Public Library. Public comments for the PY 2023 CAPER may be taken from September 2, 2024 through September 23, 2024 and can be submitted at Bristol City Hall, Office of Planning and Community Development, 300 Lee Street, Bristol, Virginia, Room 108 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Anyone with written or oral comments or questions about the CAPER may contact the office of the Community Development Specialist at 276-645-7473, ellen.tolton@bristolva.org or TDD 276-645-7289.

The public hearing will be conducted in English; however, persons requiring special assistance or interpretation may contact the Community Development Specialist in advance for accommodations.
