Starting September 1, the City of Bristol, Virginia, is launching a new, more customized brush, grass, leaf and junk collection service designed to better serve our residents. Instead of waiting weeks for routine pickups, you can now schedule collection at your convenience — with just a click or a quick call.
How It Works

How It Works

  1. Request pickup online or by phone
  2. Schedule a pickup date that works for you. Items will be picked up within 7 business days of request.
  3. Prepare your materials for pickup. Place brush, grass clippings, leaves and junk in a clear, accessible location at the curb. Piles and items need to be placed 2 feet apart.
What We Will Collect

  • Tree limbs, branches and twigs (under 6" in diameter and 6' in length)
  • Loose leaves and grass clippings (not bagged)
  • Yard trimmings and small shrub debris
  • Large items (furniture, certain appliances)

Note: Construction materials, trash or commercial landscaping waste will not be accepted.
