The gas extraction system and the Sidewall Odor Mitigation System (SOMS) are being fine-tuned. The leachate treatment system is fully operational. A temporary flare has been delivered to assist in burning extra combustible gas from the quarry landfill. A third community open house was held this week in our continuing efforts to provide transparency and share expert information on the remediation efforts at the landfill.
