Crews installed 13 Blackhawk pumps in select vertical gas extraction wells to remove condensate and leachate from the wells this week. The vertical gas extraction pipe in the quarry landfill, which leads to the temporary flare, was also upgraded from a 6-inch diameter to a 12-inch diameter pipe to allow for greater condensate management and to increase the gas flow to the temporary flare.
