Site work at the Quarry Landfill this week centered on installation of an additional pump and adding dirt at various locations. Crews also continued tuning the gas extraction wells within the landfill for optimal gas and liquid extraction. Upgrades were made in low areas of the Sidewall Odor Mitigation System (SOMS) to remove condensation and other liquids.
