Remediation efforts and regular maintenance activities continued this week at the Quarry Landfill, despite wet conditions at the site. Fine-tuning of the benzene extraction system is progressing. At the older adjacent 498 landfill, closure activities are ongoing. Crews made progress this week trenching in the new gas header system.
