Additional sealing of the rock face to contain emissions at the Quarry Landfill was applied this week, as regular maintenance activities continued. At the older adjacent landfill, horizontal collectors were connected to the new gas header system. Additionally, final grading to prepare for installation of a geomembrane liner, and fine-tuning of the benzene treatment system are ongoing.
