This week at the Quarry Landfill, a force main break in the leachate collection system has been repaired. Separately, some minor issues occurred with the stormwater pump within the quarry landfill. As a result, a line on the pump was repaired and the pump was successfully placed back into service.
Meanwhile, normal activities continued with pump maintenance, gas readings, and optimization of the gas collection system.
