A pre-construction meeting for installation of the new permanent flare at the Bristol Quarry Landfill took place this week. The project is scheduled to get underway soon. Crews at the landfill were busy installing three new clay seals around gas wells in the ongoing effort to mitigate odors. Two more pumps in the gas collection system were also replaced.
