Installation of the new permanent flare started this week at the Bristol Quarry Landfill. Crews began fusing pipe and excavating the route for the new gas header. Daily meetings are occurring between the contractor and landfill staff to ensure successful coordination of work actions. Crews also replaced two leachate pumps and performed maintenance on the landfill gas system.
