The combination of warmer weather and a low cloud ceiling this week resulted in some elevated odors at the Bristol Quarry Landfill. We continue to move as expeditiously as possible with our remediation efforts. Crews continue to fine-tune the updated benzene extraction system.
Melting snow and rain have precluded any additional progress on the closure process at the older landfill adjacent to the Quarry Landfill this week.
