Favorable weather conditions allowed crews to make progress on remediation activities at the Quarry Landfill this week. Additional work sealing portions of the rock face around the landfill to decrease any emissions from those sources was done and crews continue to work on fine-tuning the benzene systems.
At the older adjacent 498 landfill, closure activities are advancing.
