Regular maintenance activities commenced at the Quarry Landfill this week, which included the cleaning of pumps and associated piping. Temperature probes were evaluated for performance and adjusted as needed. Landfill gas wells and related equipment were also examined to ensure they are operating properly and adjusted as needed for optimum efficiency and effectiveness. Closure activities at the older, adjacent, landfill continue to progress.
