The Bristol Quarry Landfill received a report this week following an unannounced inspection by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region III on August 22, 2024. The report stated “No potential issues were identified during the inspection.” The full report can be found here.
Additionally, regular maintenance activities continued at the landfill this week, including gas sampling; monitoring of the blower, flare and wellfield; and breaking down, cleaning, and repairing pumps.
