Tamrya Spradlin

Tamrya Spradlin is serving the City of Bristol, Virginia, as Interim City Manager. She was appointed to this position effective January 15, 2026. She previously served the City of Bristol, Virginia, as Assistant City Manager beginning May 1, 2023, and as Chief Financial Officer for more than five years, starting in March 2017.

She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Christopher Newport University and has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia since October 2000. Ms. Spradlin has over 23 years of local government work experience. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Virginia Government Finance Officers’ Association.
